Megan has spent over 20 years in the social work field and her previous work has been at a variety of non-profit agencies serving foster youth and she was the director of a senior center.
Megan was a GaLEND trainee in 2022-23. She is also the Founder of Bridges to Understanding which is a support group in East Cobb for families who have children with disabilities.

Megan combines her years of experience in social work with her lived experience of having two children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Her consulting business provides parent coaching, resource coordination and public speaking appearances to educate and inform others about neurodiversity.
The mission of Megan Walsh Consulting is to support the parents of neurodivergent children/teens and help them create a supportive community for their family.
The inspiration for Megan’s work in the disability field comes from her autistic sons and creating a world where all individuals with disabilities are included.
